Trespassing in Dionysia: Uncollected Early Poems 1993-1997
by Mark Pirie

Trespassing in Dionysia: Uncollected Early Poems 1993-1997

Trespassing in Dionysia is the second archival collection of uncollected early poems from Mark Pirie's folders, notebooks and unpublished manuscripts. It collects the remaining unpublished poems from Mark Pirie's early notebooks, folders and manuscripts (1993-1997) and shows his development from the mostly rhyming form of the first archival collection Bottle of Armour towards more experimental, surreal and post-modern American forms. These poems are not in his published collections, as they were thought unsuitable (for commercial release) or unfinished.

Mark revised and collected them in their present form in January 2008 as an archival limited edition published by Original Books in Wellington (not meant for commercial release).
